The FBI has foiled four plots by gangs in Eastern Europe to sell nuclear material to ISIS in the last five years, an investigation has revealed.
Authorities working with the federal law enforcement agency have stopped criminals with Russian connections that sought to sell radioactive substances to the Middle Eastern extremists.
The latest known case came in February this year, when a smuggler offered a huge cache of deadly cesium – enough to contaminate several city blocks – and specifically sought a buyer from the Islamic State group.

But a July 19 Fox & Friends broadcast suggests that in order to fight domestic terrorism it may become necessary to reduce the number of visas being approved en mass (or scrutinize them more carefully), since as many as 100,000 student Muslim visas are being approved every year for college-studying purposes–and many of the terrorists being fought on American soil hail from that type of background, like the 9/11 extremists.

Two dead in gun attack at South Korea embassy in Libya
Gunmen killed two people and wounded a third in an attack at the South Korean embassy in the Libyan capital Tripoli on Sunday which was claimed by the Islamic State group.
The gunmen opened fire on the embassy compound from a passing car, killing two people and wounding a third, a Libyan interior ministry spokesman told AFP.
A security source at the location said the two dead were both Libyan guards, adding that while the embassy had been closed for several months, South Korean officials were continuing to use it.
